A few weeks ago, I have shared about free AZ-900 and SC-900 certifications and I came to know that, you can get up to 5 Microsoft fundamental certifications at no cost.

How to get Microsoft Fundamentals Certifications at no cost?

Microsoft is arranging Virtual Training Day for fundamentals, security and many other topics.

You will find the virtual training days for different technologies and tracks as follows.

  • Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Days
  • Microsoft 365 Virtual Training Days
  • Microsoft Security Virtual Training Days
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Virtual Training Days
  • Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Days

Select the technology track you are interested and you will see the sub-tracks available.

Select your track and you will see the message with training schedules available and notification with no cost. Now need to register for the training session of your choice (there are multiple sessions) suitable for your schedule and attend the training.

After completing these training, you’ll be eligible to take the respective certification exams at no cost.

Please note, as per my understanding this is limited to a maximum of 5 certifications per individual but you can attend any number of training.

What are the certifications available?

  • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
  • DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
  • SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams
  • MB-910: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)
  • MB-920: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP)
  • etc.

How to prepare for the exam?

Microsoft is providing free online learning courses to prepare for both certification exams (and other exams). Check learning path in the certification page for AZ-900SC-900 and other tracks. You will also find both online and instructor-led options if required. You can also use any other courses from UdemyCoursera or Pluralsight if you have any free (or paid) subscription or purchases.
